"THREE WOMEN"...a musical theatre
Three Women" a Musical theatre with English Dialogue on 25th January 2019.
The performance is crafted on the evolution of two female protagonists from Tagore’s novellas, Bimala from “The Home and the World” and Charu from “The Broken Nest”, seen from the perspective of Kadambari Devi, Tagore’s sister in law and lifetime muse.
The characters traverse the centuries and talk in today's language of issues faced by the women of the 21st century.“Three Women” illustrates the continuing relevance of Tagore’s work as women today negotiate similar issues of identity and empowerment in the public domain.
The saucy,witty script will have you entertained while the mesmerizing music will leave you enthralled.
